Just before Faith turned 2, we started enrolling her in gymnastics classes at the Little Gym. Now, I use the term 'gymnastics' loosely, as it's more of a glorified run-around-like-a-crazy-ya-hoo hour with some tumbling thrown in. Regardless, Faith has such a good time and always asks if it's Little Gym night. This year was extra special because her best buddy Lauren was also in her class. It's been such a treat to watch the girls run and play together, and see how strong of a bond 3 year olds are capable of forming. Even if Faith doesn't see Lauren for months, they reunite like no time has been lost at all. It's so sweet to watch! Well last month (again, slow in blogging lately!) Faith had her graduation from her 3's class at the Little Gym. The kids spent most of the term working on a routine and then performed it for eager camera-ready parents during the Tuesday night class. The show was followed by an award ceremony where each child was presented with a medal and a certificate of completion. So you know, just the thing that makes a doting, teary-eyed parent's heart swell with pride. Faith's Nana, Papa, Uncle and Chelsie also got to come watch. I think this might have given her a little stage fright, but over all she had a great time and loved showing us what she had learned on the balance beam and the bars. I have to say my long-limbed munchkin probably isn't destined to be an olympic gymnast, but we all still had fun! A month later, she's still walking around the house singing her Little Gym song. "Down by the station early in the morning, see th
e funny worms all in a row...AWAY WE GO!"
